- Intensive and proactive consultancy: Discount Travel will assign customers a specific Account Manager to attend to all your requests, in her absence the Travel Manager will handle.
- Expertise Advise: Discount Travel will ensure attention is paid to all the following areas:
a) Options: For each request a minimum of three (3) airline & fare options will be provided and corresponding itineraries with most direct routing.
b) Waitlisted Bookings: In the event that the preferred option is waitlisted, Discount Travel will liaise with the airlines to get a confirmation, but offer the next suitable alternative and keep customers well updated on a continual basis.
c) Fare conditions & restrictions: We will in all formal quotations clearly indicate the rules such as cancellation/refund penalty once ticket is issued, maximum validity of ticket & date change/rebooking fee.
d) Ticketing Time Limit: This will be clearly indicated once the preferred option is advised and your designated Account Manager will be responsible to remind your personnel closer to the travel date and ticketing time limit to avoid losing the confirmed fare.
e) Electronic tickets: Once authority is received to issue, we will immediately transmit the electronic ticket, clearly indicating the itinerary in an easy and friendly format for the traveler.
f) On –Line Check in: For all tickets issued by our office, and Passport details have been provided, we will do online check in and transmit the boarding pass to the provided email address at least 24hrs before departure. Seat Preference will be sought before the check in is done and stored in our Travelers personal profiles for future use.
- Managerial staff available after-hours or weekend for emergencies; Your designated Account Manager will be available 24/7 after hours and over the weekends and public holidays for any urgent requests , flight changes and any other service that may be required .The Travel Manger & Managing Director will also remain reachable at all times.
