Serian Camp is owned by Alex Walker - a renowned specialist in this part of Africa, the training he has passed onto his staff is incredible. The primary focus at Serian is seeing the local wildlife and game - this is why there are no fixed daily schedules in order for you to spend as much or as little time with the local flora and fauna as you wish.

The camp is permanently located within the Mara North Conservancy within the Masai Mara.
Accommodation & Facilities
The six tents are in a ‘Selous’ style and the material walls ensure you feel at one with nature as you fall asleep after your day of adventure with the calls of the amazing wildlife which surrounds you. The camp doesn’t fall short on luxury however, with each tent complete with flush toilets and hot showers on demand.
In addition to the six tents there is also a communal tent which is often used for dining in the evening as well as a library tent so that you can indulge in a book during your stay.Dining
All meals are included at the Serian Camp. Due to the remote location the cooking facilities do seem to be a little rustic however the dishes served beg to differ. The cuisine served here is made using as much local produce as possible with most of the ingredients being sourced from a local farm. There are no set meal times at Serian so you can see as much of the local wildlife as possible without being restricted by having to return to camp at a specific time.
Activities
The main focus at Serian Camp is on seeing as much wildlife as possible, therefore the main activities at the camp are game drives and walking safaris. The camp offers private 4x4 game vehicles each with its own driver and spotter, the guides' knowledge of the area is spectacular mainly due to the fact that many of them have grown up within the area or lived here for a long time. Fly-camping can be arranged at no extra cost, or use of The Nest (the tree house) can be sorted for a night out, or for picnic breakfasts and lunches. Night drives with a picnic dinner are available, as well as amazing 3 course bush dinners under the stars.
