Little Governors Camp accommodates up to 34 guests in 17 luxury tents. The secluded location of the camp offers a truly unique experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in sights and sounds of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. With resident warthogs and elephants wandering through this unfenced camp, guests have access to abundant wildlife, without the potential disturbance of vehicles or neighbouring camps.

Setting
Approached by a boat across the Mara River, then an escorted walk through the riverine forest, Little Governors Camp occupies a privileged setting within the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Vehicles are left on the far bank of the Mara River, leaving the camp quiet and undisturbed.
Accommodation & Facilities
The 17 luxury tents border a watering hole that is teeming with wildlife. Each en-suite tent has a large wooden deck and veranda for constant game viewing.
The open bar and dining tent enjoy views over the waterhole, the open plains of the Masai Mara and the Oloololo Escarpment. Other facilities include a fire-pit area, laundry service and curio shop.
Little Governors Camp is unfenced and warthog and elephant can often be seen wandering through.
Dining
Breakfast and lunch are served in the open air, and the resident family of warthogs frequently wander amongst tables. In the evening a warming log fire burns in front of the bar tent and dinner is served in the nearby dining tent.
Activities
Game drives operate in 4x4 vehicles, with guided walks, bush meals and balloon safaris also on offer. Local village visits, excursions to Lake Victoria excursions and spa treatments are also available, some of which may incur extra cost.

Responsible Tourism
The nearby Mararianta School has been completely rebuilt and developed with funds generated by Governors’ Camp and the BBC. This establishment provides education for students who walk up to 10km through the bush to school each day.
