South of Mombasa on the Kenyan coastline, Msambweni Beach House is on a 700 private stretch of remote and pristine sandy beach.
Accommodation & Facilities
The main house has 3 spacious bedrooms, with high ceilings and neutral colours giving a fresh and airy feel. Rooms are all en-suite and have large relaxing verandas with sea views. There are also two extra rooms upstairs which are not rented separately, but come when you rent the entire house. The luxury tent does not lack in luxury, yet has a real ‘safari’ feel. There is no T.V or air conditioning here for those who want a more back to nature experience. There are also 2 Lamu villas that come with their own private infinity pools, Jacuzzis and dedicated chefs and waiters at your beckoning call!
All rooms come en-suite with a bath, sinks and a shower. Rooms also have king beds, mini bars, mosquito nets and a safe for your valuables.
DINING
Fresh seafood features highly here with cuisine including Swahili, Belgian and French styles. Meals can be arranged in some stunning locations, including lunch on a sandbank or dinner by the pool under the stars.
Activities
Msambweni Beach House offers snorkelling, fishing, wind surfing, beach volley ball, badminton, mountain biking and croquet, all on site and included in the cost.
Nearby excursions can be organised to Kisite Marine Park which is one of the best spots in the world for diving and snorkelling, with the chance of seeing sea turtles and swimming with dolphins. There is also an 18 hole golf course, deep sea fishing and motorised water sports. Being located near to the Shimba Hills means you may spot the rare Sable Antelope, after which the House was named.
Msambweni House also offers relaxation massages, pedicures and manicures.
Child Policy
Children under 16 are not allowed in the main house unless it is booked out exclusively and entirely by one group. Children may stay at the private villas.
