Naibor Camp is known for being one of the more stylish camps in the Masai Mara, located on the confluence of the Talek and Mara Rivers, which is crossed annually by the Great Wildebeest Migration. Just 7 luxurious sweeping canvas tents, muted in colour for a stylish effect, provide intimate accommodation for guests in the heart of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. As well as Naibor Camp, there is also Little Naibor – 2 luxurious and secluded suite tents, and Naibor Wilderness – a lower cost camp adjacent to Naibor Camp with just 3 tents and a small, rustic mess tent.
Naibor Camp makes an exciting base from which to explore the spectacular Mara, even outside of the migration period. Wildlife viewing is fantastic throughout the year; game drives can be done at morning, noon and night (or just head out for the entire day!).

Style
A luxurious, elegant and intimate tented camp.
Setting
Hidden in riverine forest in the heart of the Masai Mara, about 2km from the confluence of the Talek and Mara Rivers.
Accommodation & Facilities
All of the luxurious tents feature calm and subtle colours, resulting in a smooth elegance and modern style. Tents feature king sized beds made from local fig wood, spacious sofas and wool rugs on the floor, as well as private bush showers, an exhilarating experience in itself! There are 7 tents at Naibor Camp and another 2 at Little Naibor, of which are larger and more secluded, although tents are spaced cleverly for the utmost in privacy. Naibor Wilderness has another 3 tents, all kitted out to a similar standard, however they are slightly smaller and simpler than the main Naibor Camp. Naibor Wilderness has its own small mess tent, a more rustic option offering authenticity and great value for money.
The main ‘mess tent’ at Naibor Camp has a bar and library as well as a dining area and fireplace to share the day’s stories and watch the resident pod of hippos. The Naibor Spa tent is secluded from the camps and provides relaxing massages, reflexology and pedicures. There is also a boutique for locally made handicrafts, a beautiful jewellery range and works of art along side tribal pieces.
There is a mobile phone signal in the camp; however they may only be used in tents and are not permitted on game drives as they disturb wildlife. There are soft top 4WD vehicles for game drives with built in fridges for ice cold drinks under the hot African sun.
Dining
Made from the finest fresh ingredients, meals are served either at the main dining table or outside under the stars at private tables. Picnics are organised if you are out on game drives. Private meals can be arranged for romantic meals under the stars, great for Kenya honeymooners and couples.
Activities
The main activities at Naibor Camp are game drives using Toyota Land Cruisers, open at the sides for fantastic views and underneath a canvas roof to protect you from the elements. Morning and late afternoon game drives are recommended as that’s when the weather is at its coolest, however you can go out for the entire day if you wish! Naibor Camp uses professional and knowledgeable guides.
Bush meals and sundowners can be arranged in exclusive, private locations as can visits to the local Masai communities where you can watch traditional dances and interact. Hot air ballooning can be arranged to watch the wildlife come to life as the sun rises, coming back to a champagne breakfast upon landing.
Child Policy
Children under 8 are allowed only on special request, please contact us for details. Naibor Camp has no borders and wildlife may frequent the camp.
