Ngare Serian Camp is the sister camp of the Serian Camp; both of which are part of Alex Walker’s group. This exclusive camp is only accessible via a rope bridge swinging over the Mara River. It is a great camp for small groups or families due to its size and location, there is also a helipad onsite for ease of accessibility.
Owner of the camp, Alex Walker, has always enjoyed exploring the local area; their camp sites offer a number of innovative activities such as spending a night in the Serian’s treehouse.

Setting
The Ngare Serian Camp is situated in the Mara North Conservancy on the banks of the Mara River.
Accommodation & Facilities
The four ‘tents’ within the camp are both incredibly spacious and comfortable; all complete with a four-poster bed and proudly perched on top of a rich hard wood platform. Each tent is remarkably secluded with their own outdoor deck and en-suite bathroom where you can watch the pods of hippos bath in the Mara River.
Within the camp there is a mess tent which is the main communal area; where dinners take place and there is also a lounge area where guests can relax after their exciting day of exploring. There is also a platform area in the centre of the camp where you can enjoy breakfast surrounded by the wildlife!
Dining
All meals are included at Ngare Serian Camp with the delicious cuisine being made from as many local ingredients as possible from meats and cheeses to fruits and vegetables. Meals can take place under the African sky or within the communal mess tent.
Activities
The primary focus at Ngare Serian Camp is placed upon seeing as much local flora and fauna as possible. The camp provides each group with their own private vehicle, spotter and guide to give you a chance of seeing the Big 5. You will also have the opportunity to embark on walking safaris throughout the exclusive 4,000 acre walking area. You can also embark on fantastic night drives with a picnic dinner, or enjoy a bush dinner with 3 courses under the stars.
